About Nyssos

Nyssos was founded in 2024 out of the conviction that Greek wine belongs among the world’s leading wine countries.

Yet it is still too often perceived as niche, while many Greek wines today stand firmly on their own — defined by origin, shaped by history and expressed with a contemporary clarity.

These are the wines we seek out and represent.

Nyssos is named after Nysa, the mythical place where Dionysos, the Greek god of wine, was raised. Often associated with the mountainous area around Thebes, this region is also home to several wines in our portfolio. A natural link between ancient wine culture and its modern expression.
